* Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese word which means "finger pressure". This technique involves the application of pressure with the thumbs, palms and elbows to the specific points of the energy paths called meridians. The amount of pressure is adapted to the patient's condition. By working the meridians, relief from muscular and emotional stress is achieved. Shiatsu may also be beneficial for headaches, insomnia, constipation, menstrual discomfort, muscular tension. Shiatsu is a natural therapy which helps to prevent disease and maintain health.

* Therapeutic Massage

Based on Swedish massage (muscle manipulation techniques: effleurage, kneading, friction, trigger points, etc. with use of oil) the massage we offer is often combined with elements of other forms of manual therapies: acupressure, Chinese massage (tuina), orthobionomy, myofascial release and aroma therapy - depending on the assessment done by the therapist before the session. Massage releases tension, reduces fatigue, relieves stress, increases energy and improves circulation.

* Lymphatic Drainage

The proper functioning of the lymphatic system is critical to our body's ability to detoxify and regenerate tissues, and maintain a healthy immune system. It's a complex system comprised primarily of vessels and lymph nodes. When the lymph circulation stagnates, fluids, proteins, cells and toxins accumulate and cellular functioning is significantly compromised. This opens the way to many physical ailments and hastens the aging process. Lymphatic drainage is a hands-on technique designed to activate fluid circulation and stimulate the functioning of the immune system and parasympathetic nervous system.

* Reflexology

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principal that there are reflexes in the feet and hands (and in the whole body), which correspond to every gland and organ. Through application of pressure to relieve tension, improve circulation and promote the natural function of the related parts of the body.

* Iridology

The eye is an extension of brain tissue. Iridology is the science of analyzing the iris (coloured portion of the eye) to determine constitutional strengths, weaknesses and the state and functioning of every organ in the body. Iris analysis is an accurate, non-invasive and painless system of Health Evaluation, which reveals the underlying causes of possible problems and conditions before they reach a more serious, symptomatic stage, so a preventative action can be taken. To analyze organ-reflexes, the irodologist examines qualities of the iris such as colour, structure, density and markings (rings, spots, rays and their location) using a simple hand-held magnifier along with the proper lighting, as well as a camera-taken iris picture and the iris chart.

* Medical Chow Qigong

Qigong is one of the Traditional Chinese Medicine principal methods through which the mind, body and spirit are cultivated and harmonized; attention to respiration, physical exercise and meditation promotes well-being; self-regulation can increase energy, strengthen the immune system and help recovery from illness; awareness can improve imbalances in the unity of man and nature that are key causes of illness. Clients leave the session with a Qigong exercise program to follow to maintain their Qi balance and revitalize their whole being.

* Craniosacral Therapy

A very light pressure is applied by the therapist in various parts of the craniosacral hydraulic system: from the skull, face and mouth, along the spinal cord to the sacrum and coccyx, testing for movements of the cerebro spinal fluid. CST is conducive to the patient's natural self-corrective response. It helps to dissipate the negative effects of stress and enhance your general health and resistance to disease.
